Kimberly’s primary role for the past 23 years has been to be the mother of her three boys. Beyond parenting, her passions include math and innovative teaching. Prior to starting a family, Kimberly graduated from Emory University with a BS in Mathematics, earned a second bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University in Secondary Math Education, and worked as a high school math teacher for seven years at a private school. Since becoming a mother, Kimberly has taught math and science at a private middle school, tutored all levels of students in math and chemistry, taught at a homeschool co-op, and homeschooled her youngest child. Kimberly’s approach to education is that it should be authentic, engaging, collaborative, and dynamic. She believes in providing her students with a sense of belonging and opportunities to succeed.
